Bellydance Beyond Basics – Core movements will be refined and will be layered with each other.   Focus will be on dancing with the music through the use of combinations and class choreographies.   More emphasis will be placed on dance styles, stage presence, and use of music.  Students should have a minimum of 4-5 months (1 semester) of beginner/basics before taking this course.  If you have taken classes previously and want to know which class to take, please contact me.

Healing Arts Center (834 Prince Avenue, Athens - http://www.healingartscentre.net/home.html) - Cost is $14 for a single class or $60 for 6 weeks.

Intermediate/Advanced Bellydance - Students will extend basic movements and improve technique through combinations and drills.  Different dance styles will be explored with an emphasis on using this study to develop a personal dance style.  Students are encouraged to draw from different teachers and sources in creating their own dances.  In addition to choreography and improvisational numbers for the class as a whole, students should use this class as a springboard for their own dance.  Students should have a minimum of 6-8 months of beginner/basics before taking this course.  If you have taken classes previously and want to know which class to take, please contact me.

The Healing Arts Center Intermediate/Advanced Bellydance is on Wednesday nights from 7:30-8:45.
